Oeosa
It is located in Mt. Unjesan, Hangsa-ri, Ocheon-eup, Pohang-si.
Along with Oeoji, it has beautiful scenery harmonized with nature. Wonhyo, and Hyegong were practicing in Oeo Temple, and one day they made a bet that after swallowing an alive fish, and relieving it on the edge of the rock, the one whose fish is alive will win the bet.
Then, they each swallowed a fish, and one of the fish was relieved alive and the other was dead. When they saw the live fish going up the upstream vitally, the two priests said to another that there goes my fish, and both roared with laughter. O represents “I” and Eo represents “fish,” meaning that I saved the fish.
The temple has Daewoongjeon (the main building of a temple), Gyeongbuk cultural asset 88, Beomjong, the national treasure #1280, and traditional cylindrical Korean hat of Wonhyo and other relics.

Transportation
- Take Urban Bus No. 102 or 300 to Ocheon from downtown. The buses run at 12-minute intervals.Get off the bus in Ocheon, the old last stop, and get onto a bus to Oeosa. The buses run 11 times a day.
- After passing POSCO downtown, take Local Road No. 929 at a three-way crossing, Cheongrim. The temple is 4km away from Ocheon-eup.
